UGC NET December 2021 and June 2022 (merged cycles) candidates can correct their particulars in the online application forms from May 21 to May 23.

Changes are allowed under Annexure I, which permits the change of either the candidate’s father’s or mother’s name.

The additional fee (wherever applicable) shall be paid by the candidate either through credit, debit card, net banking or UPI.

The National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts the UGC NET examination, decided to allow corrections after receiving representations from several candidates for an opportunity to edit or modify their particulars in the form.

The UGC NET exam determines the eligibility for lectureship and for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for Indians to ensure minimum standards for the entrants in the teaching profession or research.

Candidates securing at least 55% marks in their master’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university in Humanities, Social Science, Computer Science and Applications and Electronic Science, among others, are eligible to appear for the exam.
