Future leaders voiced their opinion and showcased their analytical skills at a Model United Nations (MUN) Conference hosted by DAV Public School, Bistupur.
The concluding session of DBMUN 2021 was held virtually on February 12.
The students formed various committees — All India Political Parties' Meet, UN Women Committee, UN Human Rights Council, United Nations Security Council, United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change — and adopted resolutions to address the international issues.
Prakriti Singh, an alumnus of the Jamshedpur school and pioneer of the event, said debating polishes oratory skills and MUNs provides a platform to the youth to share their views on matters of international and national significance. She urged the delegates to keep an open mind and appreciated their debating skills.
DAV Public School, Bistupur, principal, Pragya Singh congratulated the students on their active participation. She said the school was dedicated towards ensuring the holistic development of students. Singh encouraged students to read stay abreast of world affairs.
Winners were given awards and citations by the school.
DBMUN 2021 ended on a high note as students and teachers promised to take the legacy forward.
