The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is set to close the objection submission window for the SSC CGL Tier I Answer Key 2024 today, October 8, 2024. Candidates who appeared for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier I examination and wish to challenge the provisional answer key must submit their objections through the official website by 6 PM.
Originally the objection window was slated to close on October 6, that was later extended by the Commission due to a heavy load on the server, which slowed response times on the website.
Steps to Submit Objections
To raise an objection, candidates must follow these steps;
- Visit the official SSC website at ssc.nic.in.
- Use your registration number and password to log in.
- Navigate to the ‘Answer Key Challenge’ section and select the SSC CGL Tier I exam.
- Check the answer key and raise objections.
- A fee of ₹100 per question/answer challenged is applicable, which can be paid through online modes like UPI, net banking, or debit/credit card.
Once the objection window closes, SSC will review all submissions and release the final answer key. The results for the Tier I exam will be based on this final key. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official website for updates regarding the results and further stages of the recruitment process.
The SSC CGL Tier I exam was conducted from September 9 to September 26, 2024, to recruit candidates for various Group B and Group C posts in the Central Government.
