SSC CGL 2024 Tier 1 Vacancy Overview

The SSC CGL 2024 recruitment drive aims to fill 17,727 vacancies in Group 'B' and Group 'C' positions across various government ministries, departments, constitutional bodies, and tribunals. These positions are highly competitive, with candidates being assessed through a multi-tiered examination process.

The Tier 1 exam included objective multiple choice questions covering four sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. Each section consisted of 25 questions, and candidates could earn a maximum of 50 marks per section. Except for the English comprehension section, the questions were available in both English and Hindi.

Qualified candidates will proceed to the next phase, SSC CGL Tier 2, where they will be tested on more advanced topics.

The examination was conducted from September 9 to September 26 across multiple centres nationwide.
