The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the proposed dates for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2023. According to an update shared by the Commission today, 13 March 2023, the notification for CGL Exam 2023 will be issued on 1 April. It must further be noted that with this release of the notification, the application process will also commence and the interested and eligible applicants can submit their application by first registering on the official website of SSC: ssc.nic.in and then logging in with the registered details. The commission has fixed the last date of application as 1 May 2023. As per the commission the Tier 1, the first phase of the examination, is all set to take place amid June-July 2023.

The Staff selection commission has declared 37 thousand vacancies for the year 2022 exam and the second phase of the selection process Tier 2 is in process. It must further be noted that 7686 vacancies were removed back in the year 2021.

To sit for the SSC CGL exam, applicants must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised university or higher education institution. Also, the age of the applicants must not be less than 21 years and not more than 27 years while appearing for the examination. In contrast to the same for some posts, the maximum age limit for a post is also 30 years. Applicants falling in the reserved categories are also even provided relaxation in the upper age limit according to the rules of the Central Government.
