The Southern Railways have released the official notification for the recruitment of apprentices under several jurisdictions of the Southern Railways. Candidates interested in applying for the post can visit the official website of Southern Railway. The last date to apply is 31 October 2022. A total of 1343 vacancies have been made available for candidates to apply out of which 110 posts are in the category of freshers and 1233 are in the ex-ITI category.
Eligibility: Those candidates who are residents of the Southern Railways geographical jurisdictions are eligible to apply for the posts available. Candidates must be above 15 years and should not be more than 22-24 years of age for freshers/Ex-ITI, MLT, etc. to apply for the apprentice positions.
Selection Process: All qualified individuals who submit in response to the notification will be considered for selection based on a merit list that has been created. The applicant who is older will be chosen if the two candidates have the same marks. When birth dates are the same, the candidate who has already passed the matriculation exam will be considered.
