Motilal Nehru Public School (MNPS), Jamshedpur, organised a summer camp for students of Classes III to V to encourage all-round development and understanding of climate change.
The students toom part in fun-based activities. The main focus of this camp was to sensitise students towards the climate change, an issue of global concern, through integrated learning techniques.
“We had a lot of fun and learnt through different activities about protecting our environment,” said Anvee Saxena of Class V.
Members of the mothers' club of the school actively participated in the camp by conducting special sessions for students such as workshops on making organic home decor pieces and cooking without fire.
Motilal Nehru Public School principal Ashu Tiwary and vice-principal Ritu Choudhary appreciated the innovative ideas of the faculty members and coordinators.

The sports department of Tata Steel organised a sports summer camp at JRD Tata Sports Complex for over 500 children.
The camp will provide children the opportunity to participate in multiple sporting activities such as archery, athletics, badminton, boxing, basketball, chess, cricket, football, golf, handball, horse riding, karate, kabaddi, roller skate/roll ball, swimming, table tennis, lawn tennis, volleyball, yoga and zumba for holistic development.
Experienced coaches from Sports Authority of India (SAI), international athletes and former Ranji players will train the participants during the 17-day camp.
