SCERT Assam DElEd PET Counselling 2024 Registration Closes Today - Check Phase 1 Key Dates

The online counselling window for the Assam DElEd PET 2024 is set to officially close today, September 27. Conducted by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Assam, the counselling process is essential for candidates to finalise their seat allocation based on their performance in the Pre-Entry Test (PET) 2024.

Candidates who have qualified for the PET exam are eligible for the counseling process, which will determine their admission in the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) course at NCTE recognised Teacher Education Institutes (TEIs) across the state filling 4050 seats.

Key Steps in the Assam DElEd PET 2024 Counselling Process

• Visit the official website at scertpet.co.in.
• Click on the ‘online counselling process’ link on the homepage.
• Enter your registered phone number and date of birth to login.
• Click on the ‘proceed for online counselling’ option.
• Enter your preferred TEI choices from the given displayed list.
• Preview and submit your final preferences.
• Download the acknowledgement slip for future reference.

After the choice-filling process, the SCERT will release the seat allotment results based on merit, preferences, and availability of seats.

Phase 1 (Round 1) Schedule

• Seat Allotment Result - September 30, 2024
• Document Verification and Physical Admission - October 1 to October 3, 2024

Once seats are allotted, candidates must visit the designated institutes for document verification. Failing to do so within the specified dates will lead to forfeiture of the allotted seat. After successful document verification, candidates will be required to pay the admission fee and confirm their seat to secure their spot in the DElEd programme.
