Sanskriti University in Uttar Pradesh has bagged a spot in the list of top 30 ‘band performers’ at the national level in the Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA), 2021.
ARIIA is declared in various categories which include technical institutions like the IITs, NITs and other Centre-funded institutions. ARIIA also reviews state universities, state standalone technical colleges, private universities, private standalone technical colleges, non-technical government, and private universities and institutions.
Sachin Gupta, chancellor, Sanskriti University, said, “The university's focus on promoting scientific innovation, entrepreneurship and research has helped us achieve this commendable feat among 1,438 Indian institutions which participated in the ARIIA 2021 ranking.”
He also congratulated the entire faculty for the achievement and expressed his gratitude towards the university administration for their continued support towards infrastructure development in the varsity.
This year saw participation of 1,438 Institutes in Atal rankings, which is about double compared to the first edition.
ARIIA is an initiative of the Union HRD ministry and has been implemented by the AICTE and MHRD's Innovation Cell.
The Atal Ranking focuses on ranking of the higher educational institutions and universities across the country based on their innovations and entrepreneurship developments.
