For Class 12 students, a mandatory two-year gap from their secondary examination passing year is required to obtain their passing certificate. The official notice specifies that learners who passed their class 10 exams after October 2022 (including sessions in April 2023, October 2023, or April 2024) must pay the exam fee to appear in up to four subjects in the October-November 2024 public exams.

Exceeding this limit will result in non-declaration of results, necessitating re-registration and fee payment for the subsequent exam session to complete certification.
