Interested candidates can now enroll for the five-year integrated and MEd programmes until January 29, 2024. The exam is scheduled for March 2, 2024.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants for the MAH CET BEd-MEd programme must be Indian nationals with a minimum 55% marks postgraduate degree in science, social sciences, or humanities from a recognised institution.
- Candidates from OBC, SC, and ST categories (Maharashtra state list only) require a postgraduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks.
- As for the MEd program, candidates should hold a graduation or postgraduation or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution in Maharashtra or elsewhere.
- A domicile of Maharashtra and/or being born in Maharashtra is essential. Additionally, candidates with parents having a domicile in the state or one parent being a union government employee posted in Maharashtra are eligible. Applicants from disputed areas between Maharashtra and Karnataka are also welcomed.
For the MAH CET MEd exam, candidates will face a question paper with four divisions containing 200 questions. The time limit for attempting the paper is 150 minutes, making it a rigorous yet comprehensive assessment.
