The National Testing Agency (NTA) has initiated the registration process for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 from October 28, 2024 on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates planning to appear in the JEE Main 2025 can register until November 22, 2024, with the portal closing at 9PM that day.
How to Register for JEE Main 2025
- Visit the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Begin by registering as a ‘New Candidate’ on the official portal.
- Use the generated registration number and password to log in.
- Complete the application form with the required details.
- Upload the necessary documents, including a recent photograph and signature.
- Complete the application fee payment process.
- Recheck all the information, and submit the application form.
JEE Main 2025 January Session 1 Schedule
- Registration Period: October 28 - November 22, 2024
- Last Date for Fee Submission: November 22, 2024
- City Intimation Slip Release: First Week of January 2025
- Admit Card Release: 3 days before the exam date
- Exam Date: January 22 - January 31, 2025
- Result Declaration: By February 12, 2025
The examination will be offered in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, and several regional languages such as Bengali, Gujarati, and Tamil, among others.
JEE Main 2025 Exam Papers
JEE Main 2025 will consist of two papers:
- Paper 1: Conducted for BE/ BTech admissions at institutions like NITs, IIITs, and other central or state-recognised technical institutions. It also serves as an eligibility test for JEE Advanced for admission to IITs.
- Paper 2: Conducted for BArch and BPlanning admissions.
The JEE Main 2025 exam will be held in two sessions for the academic year 2025-26, with Session 1 scheduled in January 2025 and Session 2 in April 2025.
