The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU) has extended the registration deadline for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 to October 22, 2024. Originally set for October 15, the extension offers aspiring law students more time to complete their applications. Interested candidates must apply online by visiting the official website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

- Complete and submit the registration form.
- Log in using the candidate’s credentials to access the application form.
- Fill in the necessary details, upload documents, and pay the fee.
- Save the confirmation page for future use.
CLAT 2025 Registration Fees
- General/ OBC candidates: INR 4,000
- SC/ ST/ BPL candidates: INR 3,500
Payment can be made through credit card, debit card, UPI, or net banking.
CLAT 2025 Exam Details
The exam will feature 120 objective questions in English, to be completed in two hours. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 for each incorrect response.
Of the 26 National Law Universities (NLUs), 24 accept students through CLAT, and this year, RPNLU Prayagraj is the latest addition to the list of participating institutions. From the academic year 2025-26, RPNLU will also admit students based on their CLAT 2025 scores.
CLAT 2025 will serve as the gateway to premier law schools across India, including National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru; National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR), Hyderabad; and National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal.
