The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has reopened the registration window for the RRB Technician Recruitment 2024, providing another opportunity for interested candidates to apply. This recruitment drive, aimed at filling 14,298 technician posts, had initially offered 9,144 vacancies across 17 categories. However, due to increased demand from Zonal Railways and Production Units, the vacancies have now been enhanced.
The registration process, which reopened today, October 2, 2024, allows candidates to apply until October 16, 2024. A modification window will be available between October 17 and October 21, 2024, for any changes or updates in the application form.
Existing Applicants
Candidates who have already applied and paid the required fee for any one or more of the Technician Grade-III categories (Cat. Nos. 2-18 of CEN:02/2024) are considered as existing paid applicants. These candidates can modify their applications without any additional payment, provided they do so between October 2 and October 16, 2024.
Existing applicants can also apply for newly introduced categories (Cat. Nos. 19-40) and will have the opportunity to update their educational qualifications, re-upload photographs and signatures, and change their preferences for posts and RRB zones. Importantly, these candidates must use their existing login credentials and avoid submitting new applications to prevent disqualification for multiple submissions.
New Applicants
New candidates, including those who missed the initial registration or applied for other CENs in 2024, can now apply for Technician Grade-III positions (Cat. Nos. 2-40). To register, candidates should use their existing login credentials on the RRB Apply portal or create new accounts if they have not applied before.
