The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay has officially opened the registration for the Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) 2025. Candidates aiming to pursue a Master of Design (MDes) or PhD at prestigious institutions like IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, and more can now apply through the official website (ceed.iitb.ac.in).
The last date for registration with the regular fee is October 31, 2024, until 11.55 PM, while the late registration deadline, with an additional fee, extends from November 1 to November 8, 2024, until 5 PM.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for CEED 2025, candidates must have completed a graduate degree, diploma, or postgraduate programme that is at least three years long, following the 10+2 level of education. Candidates who are currently in the final year of such a programme and are expected to complete it by July 2025 are also eligible. Additionally, those who have completed the GD Arts diploma programme (10+5 level) by July 2025 can apply. Notably, there is no age limit for appearing in the CEED exam, and candidates are allowed to attempt the exam multiple times.

- Visit the official website at ceed.iitb.ac.in.
- Click on the registration portal option on the homepage.
- Complete registration to obtain login credentials.
- Login and fill out the application form with the required details.
- Upload the necessary documents.
- Pay the fee and submit the form.
- Download and take a printout of it for future reference.
Registration Fee
All women candidates, as well as those from SC, ST, and PwD categories, are required to pay ₹2000, while other candidates must pay ₹4000. The fee is non-refundable and must be paid through the designated online portal using credit cards, debit cards, or net banking. Candidates should also be aware that the registration fee does not cover additional service and processing charges that may be applied by banks. If candidates register after the regular deadline of October 31, 2024, a late fee of ₹500 will be charged, and this option will remain available until November 08, 2024, at 5 PM.
With the exam scheduled for January 19, 2025, the admit cards will be released by the official website on January 3, 2025.
