WBJEE JELET Counselling 2024 Schedule and Key Details Announced - Registration Begins Soon

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has released the schedule for the JELET 2024 counselling process. Candidates who have qualified for the entrance test and are eligible for the process will be able to start registering and filling out choices through the official website, once the link is activated.

Only candidates who have secured a General Merit Rank (GMR) in JELET 2024 and meet the eligibility criteria are allowed to register for the counselling process. It's important to note that the counselling will be conducted in two rounds: Allotment (Round 1) and Upgradation (Round 2). Registration is mandatory at the start of Round 1; candidates who fail to register will not be considered for seat allotment.

Important Dates

• Registration and Choice Filling: Candidates can register and pay the required registration fee between October 3, 2024, and October 6, 2024. The window for choice filling, and choice locking, will remain open from October 5 to October 6, 2024.
• First-Round Seat Allotment Result: The results for the first round of seat allotment will be declared on October 8, 2024.
• Payment of Seat Acceptance Fee: Successful candidates who have been allotted seats must pay the seat acceptance fee between October 8 and October 15, 2024.
• Document Verification: Candidates who are not seeking upgradation or have been allotted their first-choice institute must report for document verification and admission between October 13 and October 15, 2024.
• Second-Round Seat Allotment Result: The results for the second round of seat allotment will be announced on October 17, 2024.
• Final Steps for Fresh Allottees: Fresh allottees in the second round must pay the seat acceptance fee and report to their allotted institutes for document verification and admission from October 18 to October 20, 2024. Candidates also have the option to withdraw from the process during this period.

JELET is a state-level entrance exam conducted for students wishing to seek admission into 2nd year (3rd semester) of four-year bachelor’s degree courses in Engineering/ Technology/ Pharmacy at universities/government colleges/self-financing engineering & technological institutes across West Bengal.
