The Pradhan Mantri National Apprenticeship Mela (PMNAM), which will take place on 12 December 2022 in 197 locations throughout 25 states and Union Territories, is part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's initiative, the Skill India Mission, to increase the number of job opportunities for young people in India.
Several local businesses have been asked to take part in the mela, according to a press release sent on Friday, in order to give young people the chance to develop their careers through apprenticeship training. Various businesses representing a range of industries will take part in the event. Potential apprentices will be introduced to participating companies and given the opportunity to work with them.
Visit www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in to identify the mela's closest location and register if you're interested.
Candidates with skill training certificates, ITI diplomas, or graduates may apply during this apprenticeship mela if they have completed classes 5 to 12. Candidates must arrive at the designated places with three copies of their resume, photo identification (such as an Aadhaar card or driver's licence), and three copies of their diplomas and achievements.
To increase institutions' and students' engagement, the Pradhan Mantri National Apprenticeship Mela is being used as a platform. Additionally, it educates young people about the range of choices that the associated businesses have to offer.
