3,578 police constables will be hired by the Rajasthan Police Subordinate Service in order to improve the state's law and order, according to a formal announcement made on Tuesday. The proposal to this effect has received approval from Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.
In a separate decision, the administration agreed to launch 45 new subjects in the state's 36 public schools and to create the positions required to teach these subjects, according to the statement.
Out of the 36 schools in the state, 27 will begin teaching one subject each, and nine will begin teaching two courses each. For the introduction of new disciplines, these will establish one school lecturer post per subject. This will result in the creation of a total of 45 posts, it continued.
