The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to release the final answer key and results for the July session of the Joint CSIR UGC NET 2024 soon. This exam, conducted twice a year, is a critical gateway for aspiring researchers and academicians in India, offering eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and lectureship/assistant professor roles in Indian universities and colleges.
The CSIR UGC NET 2024 was held from July 25 to July 27 across 348 centers in India, with 2,25,335 candidates appearing for the exam. The test evaluates candidates in subjects like Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences, each carrying significant weight in India's research and academic landscape.
The provisional answer key was published on August 8, and candidates were allowed to submit objections till August 11 against the preliminary answer keys by paying a non-refundable fee of ₹200 per challenged question. NTA will consider all valid objections while preparing the final answer key and results.
Candidates are eagerly awaiting the result announcement, as it will determine their eligibility for JRF or lectureship positions. Once the results are out, candidates can check their scores on the official CSIR website by entering their roll number and date of birth.
Successful candidates will be awarded eligibility certificates, which they can use to apply for JRF positions or lectureships at various educational institutions across the country.
