The much-awaited NEET UG 2024 results are set to be released today, i.e., July 20 at noon by the National Testing Agency (NTA). This comes after a directive from the Supreme Court, which on Thursday, July 18, ordered the NTA to announce the results by this deadline.
In a significant development, the apex court has directed the NTA to publish the marks obtained by students on its website without disclosing their identities. The results will be released separately, city and centre-wise and candidates can check them and access their scores through the official NTA website at exams.nta.ac.in/NEET.
The NEET UG 2024 exam was conducted on May 5, 2024, across 4750 centres nationwide with the declaration of results on June 4, 2024. Following which a re-exam was conducted on June 23, 2024, for 1563 candidates who faced time loss during the original exam held on May 5, 2024, and were awarded compensatory marks during the initial evaluation.
In light of the impending result announcement, medical colleges nationwide are gearing up for the subsequent counselling and admission processes.
