A notice inviting applications for the 2023 Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology (GAT-B) and GAT-Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET) has been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Until 31 March 2023 (5 pm), interested applicants may submit an application for GAT-B/GAT-BET 2023 via the official website, dbt.nta.ac.in or nta.ac.in
The GAT-B/GAT-BET 2023 exam will be conducted on 23 April 2023, according to the NTA's official notice. A national-level entrance exam called GAT-B/GAT-BET is held for admission to Department of Biotechnology-sponsored postgraduate (PG) programmes in biotechnology and related fields at participating Institutions (GAT-B), as well as for the award of DBT-JRFs for pursuing research in biotechnology's frontier areas (BET).
On 23 April 2023, candidates who registered for GAT-B must show up during the first shift (from 9 am to 12 pm), while candidates who registered for GAT-BET must show up during the second shift (from 3 pm to 6 pm). English-language question papers will be used in the computer-based test (CBT) format of the assessment.
