The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has initiated the choice-locking process for NEET PG Counselling 2024 Round 1. Candidates aspiring for postgraduate medical courses can lock their preferences on the official website, mcc.nic.in.

Initially, the deadline for choice-filling was set for November 17, but it was extended to allow candidates to submit their choices until 9AM on November 18, 2024. According to the official notification, “The Choice Filling for Round-1 of PG Counseling 2024 is being extended upto 09:00 AM of 18.11.2024. The Choice locking will get activated at 09:00 PM of 17.11.2024.”

Steps to Complete Choice-Locking for NEET PG Counselling 2024

  2. Click on the registration link displayed on the homepage.
  3. Log in using the candidate’s credentials.
  4. Complete the choice-locking process and submit.
  5. Download and save a copy of the confirmation page for future use.

Documents Required for NEET PG Counselling 2024

  • MCC allotment letter
  • Admit card issued by NBE
  • Result/ rank letter issued by NBE
  • MBBS/ BDS mark sheets (1st, 2nd, and 3rd professional exams)
  • MBBS/ BDS degree or provisional certificate

Additionally, the MCC has updated the revised brochure for Armed Forces Medical Services in NEET PG Counselling 2024, offering crucial details for eligible candidates.

The NEET PG Counselling 2024 includes four rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and a Stray Vacancy Round under the All India Quota (AIQ).

Seat allotment results, based on merit, seat availability, submitted preferences, and past cut-off trends, are expected to be announced on November 20, 2024.
