How to Check NEET PG 2024 Results (once it is released)
- Visit the official websites natboard.edu.in or nbe.edu.in.
- Locate the ‘Results’ tab and click on it. A new page will appear with ‘NEET PG 2024 Results’ link prominently displayed on it.
- Click on the link to access the NEET PG result 2024 PDF.
- Search for the result using the candidate’s name or roll number.
- Verify the details.
- Download the PDF copy and save it for future reference.
NEET PG 2024 Normalisation Method
Notably, the NBEMS will not release an official answer key for NEET PG 2024. The examination, which was conducted in multiple shifts for the first time, included mandatory time-bound sections. To ensure fairness across different shifts, NBEMS has implemented a normalisation process, similar to that used by AIIMS for its entrance exams. The method adjusts for variations in difficulty levels by converting raw scores into percentile scores, calculated up to seven decimal places, which reduces the likelihood of score ties.
The results will be published in a PDF listing candidates' marks, followed by the release of individual scorecards a few days later.
NEET PG 2024 Qualifying Criteria and Cut-Off Scores
The eligibility for participating in NEET PG 2024 counselling will align with the Post Graduate Medical Education Regulations, 2023.
For reference, here are the NEET-PG 2023 cut-off scores and qualifying percentile for different categories:
- General/ EWS: 291 (50th Percentile)
- General-PwBD: 274 (45th Percentile)
- SC/ ST/ OBC (Including PwBD): 257 (40th Percentile)
The cut-off marks for NEET PG 2024 will be officially announced alongside the results.
The NEET PG 2024 was held on August 11 in two shifts. Approximately 2,28,540 candidates appeared at 416 centres across 170 cities. The exam was initially scheduled for June 23, with results expected by July 15. However, it was postponed and ultimately conducted on August 11.
