Normalisation Method for NEET PG 2024 Results

The NBEMS will not release the official answer key for NEET PG 2024. For the first time, the examination included mandatory time-bound sections and was conducted in multiple shifts. In order to ensure fairness, NBEMS has introduced a normalisation method, similar to that used by AIIMS for its entrance exams, in preparing the NEET PG results.

The normalisation method adjusts for variations in difficulty levels across shifts by converting raw scores into percentile scores. The process calculates percentiles up to seven decimal places, minimising the chances of ties. This approach ensures that candidates' scores are evaluated fairly, relative to others within their respective shifts.

After the NEET PG 2024 results are declared, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will oversee the counselling process. Candidates will be allotted courses and colleges based on their exam scores.
