The National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET PG) state counselling deadline extension for 2022 is announced by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). On MCC's official website, mcc.nic.in, candidates can enroll in the NEET PG state counselling 2022.
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) has given its approval for the MCC to conduct a special round for stray vacancies for all open PG seats in the All India Quota (AIQ), central universities, central institutes, and deemed universities up till 14 January 2023. To fill 2,244 PG seats and 62 MDS seats that remained unfilled following the previous round, a special stray vacancy round is being held.
To take part in the counselling, candidates must pay a refundable security deposit of Rs 50,000. Candidates will not be allowed to take the NEET PG 2023 exam if they did not accept the seats assigned to them in the special stray vacancy round of NEET counselling. Candidates who have pre-registered but do not have a spot in the NEET AIQ counselling or state quota are still eligible to participate.
The committee has directed the state counselling agencies to follow the schedule given and finish the NEET PG counselling procedure on schedule.
