The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced a postponement of the Round 1 seat allotment results for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024. The revised date for the seat allotment announcement is now set for August 24, 2024.

As per the official notification, “information has been received from Delhi University on 23.08.2024 regarding publishing of revised CW list. In this regard, the result of Round-I of NEET UG counselling 2024 which was scheduled to be declared today i.e., 23.08.2024 is being postponed and is expected to be published tomorrow i.e., 24.08.2024.”

Candidates who participated in the NEET UG 2024 choice-filling process can check their seat allotment status on the MCC’s official website, mcc.nic.in.

Steps to Check NEET UG 2024 Round 1 Seat Allotment Result (once released)

  1. Visit the official website at mcc.nic.in.
  2. Click on the ‘UG Medical Counselling’ tab on the homepage.
  3. Select the link for ‘NEET UG 2024 Round 1 Seat Allotment Result’.
  4. Enter the candidate’s NEET UG roll number, password, and security pin.
  5. View and download the seat allotment result.

Candidates interested in upgrading their seat or withdrawing from the counselling process can make their choice accordingly. Additionally, the MCC has updated the seat matrix for Round 1 to remove certain seats due to inadvertent inclusion by Sri Krishna Medical College, Muzaffarpur, Bihar.
