The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Bombay) has announced an extension of the registration dates for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED 2024) and CEED 2024. Interested candidates can now apply for UCEED and CEED 2024 until November 13, 2023, through the official websites, ceed.iitb.ac.in and uceed.iitb.ac.in, respectively.

Applicants will have the opportunity to submit their applications for both exams with a late fee until November 20, 2023. A non-refundable registration fee of ₹3,800 is applicable, with exceptions for students belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories, as well as female candidates, who will be required to pay ₹1,900 as the application fee. The late fee is set at ₹500.

· End date to fill CEED registration form 2024 with late fee is November 20, 2023.

· CEED 2024 exam date is January 21, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates applying for CEED should hold a three-year degree, diploma, or postgraduate degree programme. Students in the final examination stage of these programs are also eligible to apply. Additionally, candidates who are set to complete the GD Arts diploma program (10+5 level) by July 2024 are eligible for CEED 2024. There is no age limit for the CEED 2024.

For those aspiring for the UCEED exam, a pass in the Class 12 board exam is a prerequisite. Students currently in the process of appearing for the Class 12 exam are also eligible to apply. Both UCEED and CEED are national-level entrance exams conducted by IIT Bombay for admission to BDes and MDes programmes. IIT Bombay will conduct the entrance exams in 27 cities across the country.
