The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) extended the deadline to register for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2024 till 20 February. Candidates who haven’t applied yet will be able to fill the KCET application form 2024 through the official website- cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
Earlier, the last date to apply for the state engineering and medical entrance exam was till 10 February. KEA commenced the KCET 2024 registration from 10 January. The KCET application form 2024 was not available from 13 to 17 January due to technical glitches.
The KEA official notice reads, “Candidates who have not registered with KEA, can register and apply online upto 11.59 pm on 20-02-2024 and pay the fees up to 5.30 pm on 23-02-2024 for CET 2024. For the welfare of the student community, dates have been extended for CET 2024 which is scheduled on 18-04-2024 and 19-04-2024.”
As per the schedule, KCET exam 2024 will be conducted on 18 and 19 April. Earlier, the exam was scheduled for 20 and 21 April, however, the dates were revised due to clash with NDA exams which are scheduled for 21 April.
Through the KCET exam, eligible candidates are given admission into various engineering, agriculture, and pharmacy courses and colleges in the state of Karnataka.
