KARTET application window 2023 opens at schooleducation.kar.nic.in; know how to apply here

The Department of School Education, Karnataka commenced the Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test (KARTET) 2023 online registration process on 14 July. Interested and eligible candidates can fill out the KARTET application form 2023 through the official website- schooleducation.kar.nic.in.

Candidates will be able to register for the KARTET till 5 August 2023. The KARTET 2023 exam is scheduled to be held on 3 September. Candidates can download the admit card for the exam between 28 August to 1 September 2023.

KARTET Application 2023: Steps to apply

1. Go to the official website- schooleducation.kar.nic.in
2. On the homepage, click on the KARTET application form 2023 link available
3. Register and generate the login credentials
4. Login with the credentials
5. Fill in the application form and upload the required documents
6. Pay the application fees and click ‘Submit’
7. Download and take a printout of the form for further reference

To be eligible for KARTET for upper primary teacher (Class 6 to 8) posts, a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50 percent marks and a one-year Bachelor in Education (BEd) or a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) is necessary.

While candidates applying for the primary teacher (Class 1 to 5) posts, need to have qualified Class 12th with a minimum of 50 percent marks along with a two-year diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or Bachelor of Elementary Education (BElEd).
