Counseling and seat allocation for entry to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) across India are administered by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). The JoSAA counseling procedure will accept applications from the top 25,000 JEE Advanced exam toppers in 2023.

On 12 March 2023, the National Testing Agency will end JEE Main 2023 session-2 applications. The dates of the JEE Main 2023 April session are set for 6, 8, 10, 11, and 12 April 2023. On 4 June 2023, the best 2,50,000 applicants from both JEE Main 2023 sessions will be allowed to take the JEE Advanced exam.
