The JEE Advanced 2023 examination is set to be held on 4 June 2023. Candidates who are yet to submit their applications can visit the official website–jeeadv.ac.in and apply by 7 May 2023. The application fee must be paid by 8 May 2023.
The entrance exam which is being conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, has introduced a new syllabus for this year.
Candidates can visit the official website at jeeadv.ac.in and check the new syllabus for the 2023 exam for all three subjects, physics, chemistry and math.
The changes in JEE syllabus:
According to the new syllabus by the Joint Admissions Body (JAB), there will be more chapters in JEE Advanced and the syllabus would be in parallel with the JEE Main. Additionally, the top 2.5 lakh students who are able to qualify for the JEE Main will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced every year.
The new addition to JEE Advanced syllabus for mathematics is statistics. Instead, the solution of the triangle has been eliminated. For physics, semiconductors and communications have been excluded, meanwhile, a few topics of JEE Main including forced and damped oscillations, EM waves and polarization have been added instead.
