Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has declared the results cum first selection list for its young scientist programme for school children called Yuva Vigyani Karyakram or YUVIKA 2023. Applicants can now check and download the list directly from isro.gov.in or jigyasa.iirs.gov.in. Names of nearly 350 young scientists are mentioned in the first list of ISRO YUVIKA results 2023.
It must further be noted that selected applicants have been asked to cross check their email address and login to the web portal and submit their acceptance within three days, the last date being 13 April. In case the response is not submitted by the last cut-off date, the seat will be given to the waitlisted applicants. If the seat remains vacant still, a second list will be issued on 20 April. This particular programme will take place from 15 to 26 May.
The YUVIKA scheme has been launched with an aim to impart basic knowledge on Space Technology, Space Science and Space Applications to the younger students. The programme is even expected to encourage more students to pursue Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) based research /career.
