The Indian Navy has officially commenced the application process for the BTech 2024 programme, inviting unmarried male and female candidates to apply for a four-year BTech degree course under the 10+2 (BTech) Cadet Entry Scheme for the Executive & Technical branch, in order to join the prestigious Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala.

Prospective applicants can begin submitting their applications starting January 6, with the deadline set for January 20, 2024. The programme aims to fill 35 vacancies in the Executive and Technical branches.

To be eligible, candidates must have passed the senior secondary examination (10+2 Pattern) or its equivalent with a minimum of 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM), and at least 50% marks in English (either in Class X or Class XII).

The selection process will involve the Naval Headquarters determining the cut-off for shortlisting applications for SSB based on JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) - 2023. Applicants are required to fill out their rank as per the Common Rank List (CRL) in the application. SSB interviews for shortlisted candidates are scheduled to take place at Bengaluru, Bhopal, Kolkata and Visakhapatnam from March 2024 onwards.

Candidates interested in applying for Indian Navy BTech 2024 should note that they must be born between January 2, 2005 and July 1, 2007.
