According to the KEA's recent notification, candidates who missed the initial registration deadline now have a second chance to complete their applications. The portal was re-opened following the receipt of NEET UG data from the Department of Medical Education.

Candidates who have already submitted their forms for the UGCET-2024 can now update their reservation details. The KEA notification specifies that candidates can enter information related to Minority Linguistic, Minority Religious, NRI Ward, and St. John’s Medical College (RC-1 to RC-8) reservations. These details can be updated on the portal until today, July 29.

The Karnataka NEET UG counselling 2024 will allocate 15% of seats under the All India Quota (AIQ). This year, approximately 43,451 seats are available, including 33,829 MBBS seats and 9,622 seats in medical and dental colleges across the state.

Document verification for both newly registered and previously registered candidates will be scheduled soon. The KEA will announce the verification dates on its official website.

The KEA oversees the counselling process for 85% of state quota seats in Karnataka. The online portal will facilitate new registrations for medical, dental, and AYUSH courses once the NEET UG data from the Department of Medical Education is integrated.
