The University of Delhi's Dean of Students’ Welfare Office has commenced the application process for the Vice Chancellor Internship Scheme 2024. Interested candidates can apply before the May 4 deadline by visiting the official website, dsw.du.ac.in.
This prestigious summer internship, under the DU VCIS 2024, is exclusively available for regular, bona fide students enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate programmes at DU. However, it's important to note that final semester or final year students are not eligible to apply.
Participants in the DU summer internship programme can expect a flexible commitment of 20 hours per week, coupled with a minimum stipend of ₹10,500 per month. It's worth mentioning that students who have previously undertaken this internship are ineligible to reapply.
The duration of the VCIS summer internship spans two months, from June to July 2024, providing students with a comprehensive learning experience. Upon successful completion of the internship, participants will receive a certificate from the dean of students’ welfare.
The internship opportunities cover various areas of interest, including the Vice Chancellor's office, departmental libraries, examination branch, and more. Additionally, the scheme aims to promote inclusivity with provisions for the Equal Opportunity Cell, catering to visually challenged individuals.
