The University of Delhi (DU) has announced the availability of vacant seats for the DU CSAS 2024 Second Round. Candidates can now access the list through the official website at admission.uod.ac.in via their candidate dashboard. The direct link has been activated, and applicants can also check the vacancies at ugadmission.uod.ac.in.
How to Check DU CSAS 2024 Second Round Vacant Seats
Following the conclusion of the first round of admissions, the second phase of the Common Seat Allotment System (CSAS) for the 2024-25 academic session at Delhi University has officially begun.
According to a PTI report, during this phase, candidates will have the opportunity to reorder their preferred college and course combinations. The portal for making these adjustments will be available from 5 PM on August 22 and will close at 4:59 PM on August 23.
The deadline to secure admission by making the online payment for this round is August 30, 4.59 PM.
The DU 2nd Merit List 2024 will be released on August 25 after completing the first round of admissions. Students included in this list must confirm their seats by paying the admission fee by August 27, 2024. Between August 22 and 23, students will be permitted to rearrange their preferences according to the available seats.
For the first phase of CSAS, a total of 2,45,287 candidates applied, with 1,85,543 students submitting their preferences. The university received an impressive 1,72,18,187 preference combinations during this phase.
An official statement released on August 20 revealed that over 46,000 students secured admission to the university’s 71,600 undergraduate seats in the first round.
Classes for the 2024-25 academic session for undergraduate students will commence on August 29.
As per the university’s data, approximately 11,224 students have “freezed” their chosen college and course combinations, signifying their final decisions. On the other hand, 27,613 students have opted for an upgrade, seeking changes in their allocated course and college preferences, PTI reported.
