The extended deadline for CLAT 2025 registration concludes today, i.e., October 22, providing one last chance for interested candidates to apply for the prestigious law entrance exam. Initially set to close on October 15, the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) extended the deadline to accommodate more candidates. The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is the gateway to undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes at the NLUs and several other participating institutions.
This year, the CLAT 2025 process has seen some notable changes, including the addition of a new institute to the list of participating colleges. From the academic year 2025-26, Dr Rajendra Prasad National Law University (RPNLU), Prayagraj will also be accepting the CLAT scores for admission.
With this new inclusion, from the upcoming year, 25 NLUs will be a part of the consortium and candidates will have more opportunities to secure seats in top law universities across the country through CLAT.
