The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 application correction window has officially opened today, October 21, offering candidates the opportunity to rectify errors in their submitted forms. Conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the CTET exam serves as a gateway for individuals aspiring to teach from Class 1 to Class 8 in schools affiliated with the CBSE board or state boards following the CBSE curriculum.
The application correction window will remain open until October 25, and candidates will be able to make necessary changes through the CTET official website (ctet.nic.in).
Candidates can only edit specific fields in the application form, as outlined by CBSE.
Fields that can be edited
- Candidate’s name
- Parents names
- Date of birth
- Category
- Differently-abled category
- Opted paper
- Opted subject
- Address of correspondence
- Institution/College/University from where the candidate has obtained the degree
Registered candidates must ensure that all corrected information is accurate, as this will be the final chance to amend errors.
“The Board will not be responsible for any consequences arising out of non-acceptance of any correction/addition/deletion in any particular once filled in the Application Form whatsoever the reasons may be,” the official information bulletin additionally highlighted.
As per the official schedule, the examination will be conducted on December 14, 2024, consisting of two papers (paper I and paper II). The second paper is scheduled for 9.30 AM to noon, and the first one from 2.30 PM to 5 PM.
