The Common University Entrance Test - Undergraduate (CUET) 2025 exam dates are expected to be announced this month, following the trend from previous years. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the exam schedule, registration start date, syllabus details, list of examination cities, participating universities, and any changes in the examination process on the official website: exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/.
CUET, introduced two years ago, is held annually to facilitate admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes offered by participating central, state, deemed, and private universities across India.
This year, the CUET UG 2024 saw participation from over 11 lakh students, while the CUET PG exam held earlier this year in March witnessed 5,77,400 aspirants appearing for the qualifying exam.
In the previous session, the University Grants Commission (UGC) announced significant changes to the entrance test format, including the introduction of a hybrid mode (combining both online and offline exams), fewer paper options, more test centres, and the discontinuation of score normalisation.
