The Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially commenced the registration process for the 20th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) December 2024 exam. Interested candidates can start submitting their application forms through the official website - ctet.nic.in. The application window will remain functional till October 16, 2024.
How to Apply
- Visit the official website at ctet.nic.in.
- Select the ‘CTET Dec-2024’ option displayed on the homepage.
- If you are a new user, complete registration to obtain login credentials.
- Fill out the application form.
- Upload the required documents (scanned signature and picture).
- Make the payment of the examination fee.
- Print and download the confirmation page for future reference.
Incomplete/incorrect application form will be rejected. So, the candidates are advised to carefully fill out the form with accurate details. However, an edit option facility will be available to the candidates for the correction of particular data in their application form in due course.
Examination Fee
- General/OBC(NCL) - ₹1000 (paper I/paper II) and ₹1200 (paper I & paper II)
- SC/ST/Diff. Abled Person - ₹500 (paper I/paper II) and ₹600 (paper I & paper II)
As per the official schedule, the examination will be conducted on December 1, 2024, consisting of two papers (paper I and paper II). The second paper is scheduled for 9.30 AM to noon, and the first one from 2.30 PM to 5 PM.
“In case number of candidates are more in any city, the exam may also be conducted on 30th November, 2024 ”, the official notification additionally stated.
The CTET is a mandatory national-level teacher eligibility test for individuals aspiring to teach from Class 1 to Class 8 in schools affiliated with the CBSE board or state boards following the CBSE curriculum.
