Over 38 lakh students are awaiting the CBSE Class 10, 12 results 2023, which were held between February and April 2023.
Amidst the wait for the results to be out, a fake notice has been doing the rounds on social media, stating the CBSE Class 10, 12 results 2023 will be out on the 11th of May. However, the Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has officially announced that the notice dated 9 May 2023 is fake.
According to the fake notice, CBSE Class 10, 12 Results 2023 will be announced on 11 May, 2023. The results can be checked at various websites- cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in, results.nic.in. The CBSE Class 10, 12 results can also be checked at digilocker and UMANG.

Additionally, the fake notice also includes the details that an official circular of CBSE can have, such as details about how to download mark sheet, result link, Digilocker etc.
In an official tweet, on 10 May, the board confirmed that the notice is fake. The CBSE has stated that they would confirm the dates of the results soon. Students who have appeared for the examinations will get the official notice on the CBSE site at www.cbse.gov.in.

A total of 38,83,710 students – 21,86,940 Class 10 and 16,96,770 Class 12 – were eligible to appear in this year’s exams.
