Class 10 final exams will conclude on 21 March and whereas the Class 12 exams will last up to 5 April

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is initiating the CBSE Board Exam 2023 for Class 10 and 12 today. The CBSE Class 10th, 12th exam 2023 has started from 10:30 AM.

It must further be noted that this year more than​ 38 lakh students will sit for the board exams. This figure further includes 21,86,940 Class 10 and 16,96,770 Class 12 students. The CBSE board has further identified 7,250 test centres throughout the country and in 26 different countries abroad for conducting these exams.

Class 10 final exams will conclude on 21 March and whereas the Class 12 exams will last up to 5 April.

As per the notifications released by the board no student appearing for the exam will be permitted to enter the exam venue post 10 am, in addition to the same the board also added that all applicants must wear uniform and identity card and mandatorily carry the printout of their admit cards.

After a couple of years of disruptions owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, the CBSE is going to conduct its board exams in a fully conventional manner for the first time.

Back in the year 2022, the board had to move to a two-term system for its board exams and the year prior to that, it was an alternative assessment scheme that was followed.
