A free training programme in artificial intelligence (AI) will start on 1 February 2023 at Banaras Hindu University (BHU). From 12 to 25 January 2023, textanalytics.in/ai will be accepting applications for the AI certification programme.
The programmes have 100 seats total, and students will be chosen based on the results of an entrance exam. The certificate programme is created with a focus on reskilling working professionals as well as university students.
The curriculum is based on the NASSCOM framework and will cover both basic and advanced topics such as artificial intelligence (AI) and big data, statistical concepts and applications, statistical tools, data import and reprocessing, exploration, and manipulation, data structures and algorithms, graph and string algorithms, artificial neural networks, programming for data science, programming in Python, creating visualisations, managerial skills, organisational behaviour, and persuasive communication.
Students and others who are employed or seeking employment in the targeted areas will receive this training from February to July 2023. Participants in the programme are not charged a fee, and they will receive a certificate upon successful completion.
The fields of data and AI have the potential to generate over 20 million technical jobs, according to a recent report from the ministry of electronics and information technology (MeitY). Thus, the Government of India has been emphasising the promotion of initiatives to help Indian youth develop these skills.
