The All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the PG scholarship scheme 2023-24. This initiative by AICTE offers a Post Graduate Scholarship of Rs 12,400 per month to full-time students who have qualified GATE and CEED and are enrolled in AICTE-approved institutions.
The aim of the AICTE PG scholarship 2023 is to foster the growth of technical education in India. Eligibility criteria include obtaining qualifying marks along with a valid GATE/CEED scorecard. Students are required to upload their information on the AICTE web portal by November 30, 2023. Institutes will subsequently verify and approve student data for scholarship eligibility by December 15, 2023.
It's important to note that an Aadhar number is mandatory when applying for this PG scholarship. Applications without a candidate's Aadhar number will not be accepted.
This scholarship will support students for either 24 months or the duration of their respective courses. Additionally, students in the final year of dual degree integrated programs can receive the PG scholarship from the 9th semester onwards, limited to one year in their final year.
How to register for the AICTE PG Scholarship 2023-24:
1. Collect the Unique ID from your institute and log in at pgscholarship.aicte-india.org.
2. Upload scanned copies of all original documents, including the Aadhar card and a valid category certificate if applicable.
3. Provide a scanned copy of your GATE/CEED scorecard.
4. Enter bank account details linked with your Aadhar card.
5. Click 'submit' and download the confirmation page for future reference.
