SXUK in collaboration with SXUK Alumni Association organised a 2-day Workshop on 'Mastering Business Fundamentals'

St Xavier’s University, Kolkata aims to reach out to the young minds of the city of joy in giving shapes to the dreams and aspirations of students intending to venture into the world of business either academically or otherwise.

For students who are not aware of the dynamics of the business world or are curious to know more this humble initiative undertaken by a galaxy of faculty members and resource persons from this particular domain aims to empower them.

The workshop aims to equip the participants with the essential knowledge and techniques needed to excel in the dynamic world of business. During the workshop participants will have the opportunity to learn from seasoned industry professionals and academicians through a combination of interactive lectures and practical exercises.

It is designed to provide valuable insights into the key principles and best practices that drive business growth and sustained success. Students shall also be introduced to the various avenues and career prospects that are available for commerce graduates.

The two-day programme shall have a total of 8 sessions. The emerging topics in the area of business and finance such as cryptocurrency and blockchain, BPR and 6 Sigma, and B Plan, as well as hands-on training on data management for decision-making, are some key highlights of the workshop.

The workshop shall begin with an inaugural session at 9:00 AM on the 15^th of June, Thursday at the university campus. The detailed schedule of the two-day workshop shall be sent to the participants one day prior to the workshop.

• The workshop is open to all UG Final Year Commerce and Management Students
• An e-Certificate will be provided upon successful completion
• The workshop will be held at SXU, Kolkata Campus
• The registration fee for the workshop is INR 250.
