Yuva, the official cultural club of Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology (MSIT), organised its annual cultural festival on 29 April 2023. The event featured a lineup of renowned guest artists from around the nation.
The dance troupe from different colleges kicked off the festival, setting the stage on fire with their electrifying moves, leaving the audience spellbound. Followed by a spectacular performance by the guest artist, Band Lakkhichhara, who took the stage to thunderous applause. The renowned Bengali band, known for their soul-stirring compositions, enchanted the audience with their renditions of some of the most popular songs.

Speaking about the festival, the college's principal, Prof. (Dr.) Tirthankar Datta, said, "We are thrilled to have such a diverse range of artists performing at our festival. Our aim is to provide a platform for our students to showcase their talents and also bring some of the best artists to our campus. We hope that this festival will not only entertain but also inspire our students to pursue their passions."
Mr. Singdhajit Bhowmik, another guest artist followed Lakkhichhara with an equally captivating performance. The versatile singer showcased his mastery over various genres, including classical, semi-classical, and contemporary music.
The Cultural Programme coordination committee of the college consisting of all faculty and staff was the main advisory body of this programme. Meanwhile, the coordinator of the committee and Dean of student affairs, Ms. Joyshree DasRoy and convenor Surojit Das helped Yuva members in all aspects.
Parth Purvesh, Manjeet Kumar, Shreerup Bhowmick, Nayan Muhree, Swastik Chatterjee and several others had a major role in making this event a success.
