An interesting mega inter-school quiz competition was held at Bidhan Chandra Institution for Girls

A mega inter-school quiz competition was held at Bidhan Chandra Institution for Girls on 18 December 2022. Around 17 schools participated in the competition. The quiz master Mr Debdas Karmakar, a veteran in this field, conducted the quiz. The event was inaugurated with the lightning of lamp and felicitation of the quiz master. Prof Dibanath Mukherjee of NSHM Knowledge Campus addressed the gathering and informed the students about the various programmes offered at the campus.

The rules and regulations of the quiz were explained to the students by the quiz master in both English and Bengali for better comprehension of the students. 20 questions were asked using the audio-visuals in the elimination round. 6 schools qualified for the elimination round namely, BCI for Girls, DAV Durgapur, DPS Durgapur, Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar School, Durgapur and St. Peter’s School.

The first prize was bagged by Amrita Vidyalayam, the first runner-up was St.Peter’s School and the second runner-up was DICV Public School, Durgapur. The other schools were provided with consolation prizes on the Annual Prize Distribution programme on 23 December 2022.
