His main highlights were on the ways in which theatres reach remote areas of the country with a special focus on Kashmir. He tried to bridge the gap between the audience and the theatre artist. The historical importance of the Bhaand community in Kashmir has been highlighted through MK Raina's short documentary Badshah Lear: Shakespeare in Kashmir. The importance of theatre lies in understanding people's language. He spoke about a beautiful stanza by Kabir, “The responsibility of everything is to seek truth and look for truth”. A medium can change from films to documentaries to theatres or anything to reach maximum audience. He described theatre as something which can never die, it goes down and rises from there. Theatre plays a crucial role as a communicator of any type of message.
