The state joint entrance examination board announced on Saturday that the centralised online counselling for admission to the BTech programme will start on July 10.

Sonali Chakravarti Banerjee, the chairperson of the JEE board, announced the schedule on Saturday.
The candidate registration, payment of the registration fee and choice filling will be held from July 10 to 16. Candidates may modify and lock their choices by July 16.
This will be followed by the first round of seat-allotment results on July 19.
Activities like payment of seat acceptance fees, reporting to allotted institutes for document verification and admission for those who have been allotted seats and will not opt for upgradation of choice which constitutes the second round, have to be completed from July 19 to July 24, says the notice uploaded on the board’s website.
The second round of seat allotment results will be announced on July 26.
Payment of seat acceptance fee for fresh allottees and reporting to allotted institutes for document verification and admission have to be completed between July 26 and 29.
Registration for the mop-up round (the third and final round), payment of registration fees and choice filling have to be completed from July 31 to August 1.
“Candidates may modify and can lock their choices by August 1,” said the board’s registrar Dibyendu Kar. “The candidates will get the seat matrix, which denotes the number of seats and streams offered by each institute, on Monday.”
Mop-up round seat allotment results will be announced on August 3.
Payment of seat acceptance fees (fresh allottees) and reporting to allotted institutes for document verification and admission will be carried out between August 3 and 5.
