The XLRI Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Management (ExPGDM) batch of 2021-22 will host the second edition of ClockSpeed, XLRI’s flagship operations and supply chain conclave, on May 29.
The theme for the virtual event will be ‘Creating Value through a Sustainable Supply Chain’.
The conclave is being organised by the XLRI ExPGDM student placement committee.
The Operations and Supply Chain Conclave will be inaugurated by Raghu Tata, the chairperson of Father Arrupe Centre for Ecology and Sustainability and associate professor of Strategic Management at XLRI Jamshedpur.
Prashant Yadav, affiliate professor of Technology and Operations Management at INSEAD and senior fellow at the Center for Global Development and lecturer at Harvard Medical School, will share his insights on ‘Musings on Supply Chains that Save Lives and Improve Sustainability’.
Ranjan Sinha, chief group shipping at Tata Steel, will speak on ‘Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity: How to Best Position People, Process and Technology to Define Supply Chain Vision for 2025 and beyond’.
A panel discussion on ‘Do Supply Chains Run the Risk of Disruption due to ESG Concerns?’ will have Jasmeet Singh Marwah, vice-president, Moglix; Naresh Babu, director-business finance and head procurement, Snapdeal; Arvind Singh Rana, partner, Vector Consulting Group, and Richa Pant, founder, Harmony INC as speakers. The discussion will be moderated by Bijaya K Mangaraj, professor of Production, Operations and Decision Sciences at XLRI.
Another discussion on ‘Can Digital Accelerate our Journey to Net Zero?’ will have on the panel Shom Chatterjee, vice-president-head of procurement, logistics, ITC Limited; Shailen Shukla, chief logistic officer, Pictruc; Neha Parekh, head of logistics, Godrej Consumer Product Ltd; and Vivek Bhatia, MD & CEO Thyssenkrupp Vivek Bhatia,
The keynote address will be presented by Shubhrangsu Dutta, director, femcare supply chain, Procter & Gamble, on ‘Supply Chain Resilience’.
Niraj Ambani, group president-supply chain, Reliance Industries Limited; Nishith Rastogi, founder CEO, Locus; and Pradeep Jadhav, co-founder director, Thoucentric; will take part in a panel discussion on ‘Will Sustainability Bind Leaders, Customers and Investors to seek Long-term Value?”
Keynote addresses will be delivered by Yogesh Sarin, director, supply chain, Dell Technologies; on ‘Supply Chain Transformations’ and Daryl Watkins, senior director, supply chain, GEP Worldwide USA Daryl Watkins, on ‘ESG within the Supply Chain’.
